What to Expect
This is a psychoeducational group focused on boundaries — what they are, why they matter, and how to communicate and maintain them in healthy, sustainable ways.
The group will be primarily guided and lecture-style, with space for brief reflection and optional discussion. I’ll walk through:
what boundaries are (and common misconceptions about them)
how boundaries protect emotional energy, relationships, and mental health
why setting boundaries can feel uncomfortable or guilt-provoking
different types of boundaries (emotional, relational, time, internal)
how to communicate boundaries clearly and respectfully
how to hold boundaries when others push back or don’t respond well
This is not a therapy group.
There will be no processing of personal trauma, and sharing is always optional.
You’re welcome to listen, take notes, reflect quietly, or participate as feels comfortable.
The goal is to leave with a clearer understanding of boundaries and practical language and tools you can use in real-life situations.

This group is designed to offer education and tools, not ongoing care. If you reside in Texas, you’re welcome to book an individual therapy session with me for continued support if that feels like a good fit.
