What to Expect

This is a psychoeducational group focused on understanding grief and how it affects us — emotionally, mentally, and physically.

The group will be primarily guided and lecture-style, with space for brief reflection and optional discussion. I’ll walk through:

  • what grief is and the many ways it can show up

  • common myths and misconceptions about grief

  • why grief can feel unpredictable or overwhelming

  • practical tools you can use to support yourself during waves of grief

This is not a therapy group.
There will be no processing of personal trauma, and sharing is always optional.

You’re welcome to listen, take notes, reflect quietly, or participate as feels comfortable.
The goal is to leave with a clearer understanding of grief and a few supportive tools you can take with you.
